The energy of Imara Reiki is an intense form of Reiki and has a slightly different feel. Imara Reiki uses focused intentions and has a higher vibrational energy level than most Reiki modalities.

If the healing energy of Reiki could be split up into vibration/frequency bands; Imara is on level  5 on the Reiki scale, Usui Reiki being levels 1-3 and Karuna Reiki level 4. The name Imara basically means more, hence, "more Reiki = Imara Reiki."

Once you are attuned to Imara Reiki, it is extremely simple to use the energy, in comparison to  Usui Reiki or Karuna for instance. This form of Reiki is a channelled form that came to Barton Wendel. Together with his brother Geoffrey they refined and developed Imara Reiki to its current state.
